Testing the Backup

The backup created with cloud_backup.sh can be tested by restoring with cloud_restore.sh. That can be done in the sandboxed environment a docker container provides.

With the Dockerfile an image of debian Bookworm + Apache + PHP + MariaDB is created. Run a container, check the correct deployment of your backup settings and run the cloud_restore.sh script from the users home inside the container. After that a copy of your cloud should be accessible via http://localhost:8080/.
